WELCOME TO  BROADLANDS BIKE WORX

I’ve been an avid mountain bike rider my entire life. I spent my high school summers working at a local bike shop in Bethesda, MD, building and repairing all types of bikes. After high school, I lived in Santa Cruz, CA, and ran my own mobile bike repair service before returning to the East Coast. My passion for bikes continued throughout my college years and into my adult life. I’ve never stopped building and servicing my family and friends’ bikes, and up until a few years ago, I was actively racing them. My son, Lucas, shares my passion for riding and repairing bikes, and what better way to support him than by helping him run a bicycle repair shop out of our garage? We also aim to give back to our community by providing a cost-effective way to keep bikes running at their best.

Now that Lucas is off to college, we are transitioning our family business to include Siena. Siena has always been excited about working with her hands—crafting, sewing, creating clothing, and making amazing jewelry. She is now venturing into working on bikes with her dad to help out with our community business. We’re thrilled to see her take on this new role and continue the family tradition of offering quality bike repair services while sharing our passion with the community.
